Yoga Your Way to well-being from the inside out.
Because you can do yoga, and you can do it your way.
Hi, my name is Nichole Marie,
and this is Yoga Your Way
I first began practicing yoga in 2010 as a home practice based on sustaining my flexibility from gymnastics in my adolescence. In 2014, I opened my mind up to yoga philosophy and incorporating mindfulness into my physical practice on the mat, the workplace, and personal relationships as a way to heal childhood and adults traumas, alleviate high anxiety, and establish a sense of identity that I hadn’t found in my entire life.
As a corporate career woman by day, at the age of 26 years old, I found it crucial to incorporate yoga philosophy, mindfulness, and restorative 5-10 minute yoga breaks into the workplace on a daily basis. Within just a few months I saw extreme changes in my behavior and well-being at work. A once anxious and fearful professional, I know led with confidence, greater focus, improved communication, efficient productivity, and improved relationships with my team. My team was now functioning at high capacity and even joy. In different ways, we all found success and work-life balance.
I strongly believe that there is a yogi in each and every one of us, we just have our own way of practicing. A way that is unique to the individual. A way that may not always involve the asanas (postures). A way that is rooted in philosophy and the goal of total liberation of the self.
Because you can do yoga, and you can do it your way.
That’s why I say you can Yoga Your Way. I was inspired to establish the movement of Yoga Your Way in 2019 while listening to a song from Fleetwood Mac, “You Can Go Your Own Way.”
I now reside in Carson City, Nevada and bring Workplace Wellness Programs, tailored private instruction, group events, and Trauma-Informed yoga teacher trainings to the Carson City/Reno/Lake Tahoe region.
Emotional regulation and healing comes from within - and I’m here to be your guide.
